About me.

My name is Jasmijn Dagevos, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in English Translation. From a young age, I have had a keen interest in both the Dutch and English languages. Language and communication play an indispensable role in daily life, and clear written communication is of great importance.

I find great satisfaction in carefully translating texts from English to Dutch, paying attention not only to the right words but also to ensuring a clear, natural, and understandable message. In this way, I am happy to contribute to effective communication that resonates with the target audience.

Background
After completing my degree in Social Legal Services, I enjoyed working at a notary’s office for over ten years. Driven by my passion for travel, I then made the switch to the travel industry, where I began working as a travel consultant. After the travel agency went bankrupt during the COVID-19 pandemic, I found a new challenge at a physical therapy practice, where I  enjoy working to this day.
In addition, my passion for language led me to pursue a degree in translation, which I successfully completed by earning my
bachelor’s degree
